Scoot Airlines is a young airline which believes that travel is all about discovering, connecting, experiencing, and enjoying. The airline uses Boeing 777 aircraft from Singapore Airlines and has its own Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft and operates from its main hub and headquarters at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1.

Scoot Airlines Booking Classes

Scoot Airlines booking is available for three different travel classes:

ScootBiz: Full leather seats that offer at least 38" (96cm) of legroom, 22 (56cm) of width, 8 (20cm) of recline and fully adjustable headrests.

Economy:  Standard seats in economy have an average 31 seat pitch and 18 seat width.

ScootinSilence: ScootinSilence is a small cabin with a few rows of super seats right behind the ScootBiz cabin. This class is perfectly apt for guest(s) seeking an exclusive cabin, extra legroom and confidence that under 12’s will be seated in another part of the aircraft. ScootinSilence seats will cost slightly more than the super seats in the main cabin.

Scoot Airlines Online Check In

Scoot Airlines online check in is available from 48 hours to 3 hours before the scheduled flight departure timings. Scoot flights online check in is available for:

• Individual or group travelers (excluding travel agent bookings)

• Guest(s) with only carry-on baggage or check-in baggage

• All Scoot flights departing from Singapore

• Point-to-point journeys (i.e. no flight connections)

• Guest(s) travelling with infants

• Pregnant guests

Scoot flights online check in is not available for:

• Guest(s) who require special assistance, e.g. wheelchairs, extra seats, visual or hearing impairments, service animals

• Journeys with multiple connecting flights

• Standby, staff and duty travel bookings

• Guests who have purchased MaxYourSpace

• Guests who are awaiting confirmation of their MaxYourSpace or Bid 4 Biz requests

Scoot Airlines Airport Check In

All passengers, who have completed online check in are not eligible for Scoot-to-Gate. The passengers must proceed to the web check in counter at Singapore Changi Airport, Terminal 2 (Row 10) at least 120 minutes before flight departure to drop off checked baggage and/or verify your travel documents.

Airport check in counter for Scoot Airlines opens 3 hours before departure, and closes 60 minutes before departure. Boarding gate opens 60 minutes before departure and closes 20 minutes before departure.

Scoot Airlines Baggage Allowance

Scoot Airlines baggage allowance permits carrying weigh less than 32kg for all travel classes as checked in luggage. Each checked in luggage must not exceed dimensions of 158cm.

Cabin baggage

Economy class - The passengers in economy class are allowed to carry one piece of up to 7kg (plus 3kg allowance if a laptop is carried).

ScootBiz class - The passengers in ScootBiz class are allowed to carry 2 pieces of up to a combined weight of 15kg.

Cabin baggage, regardless of class, cannot exceed dimensions of 54cm x 38cm x 23cm (total linear dimensions cannot exceed 115cm).

Extra Cabin Bag

The passengers are allowed to purchase an extra 7kg cabin baggage allowance, in addition to the standard 10kg allowance.

Scoot Airlines provide world class cuisine on-board including hot meals, light meals, beverages snacks and soft drinks. Premium selections come with a deluxe meal, 2 deluxe sides and a drink. You can pre-book to enjoy $3 off hot or light meal combo, which comes with a Kit Kat Chunky (milk chocolate), and a Coca-Cola or Heaven & Earth green tea.
