In 2012, the Mobile Children's Museum debuted. It strives to make the engaging educational opportunities offered by the Children's Museum available to as many kids as possible throughout the Kingdom. Everywhere it goes, the Mobile Museum welcomes kids and families with open arms. It carries several stations in its moving truck, including the 3D Planetarium, the Energy Around Us station, the Art station, the City Square station, and other stations typically seen inside gyms and other gathering spaces at some schools. Children appreciate the games, science demonstrations, and hands-on exhibits offered by the museum facilitators through these stations.

There are 180 interactive exhibits, including indoor and outdoor play areas, a cafe, a wonderful library, and more if the kids need some quiet time. Children learn while having fun, interacting with indoor and outdoor exhibits, reading in the library, expressing themselves creatively in the Art Studio, and being in nature in the Secret Garden at the Museum. In a secure setting, children are encouraged to learn via interaction and self-exploration in these interactive spaces, which are enhanced by live educational activities. The museum experience is intended to supplement classroom instruction and demonstrate how learning can be enjoyable and useful and is entirely possible through play. The goal is to develop an inclusive learning environment that engages kids from all over Jordan, with a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds and academic abilities, and inspires them through a learning opportunity that lasts beyond their visit to the museum and contributes to a richer and more active understanding of what it means to learn.

Young visitors can play and learn in its several zones about everything from the functioning of the human body to lasers and rainbows. The mock-ups of the Royal Jordanian airliner and air traffic control tower, as well as the construction site with its bricks and pulleys, are particular favorites (perhaps since they also entail dressing up). There is a cafe, an outdoor play area, a wonderful library, and more if the kids need quiet time. Arabic and English are used for all displays. The staff extends a warm and friendly touch. For unlimited visits and access to special events, a family membership ticket (starting at JD60) is a wise investment if you want to live in Amman for a long time. The Tinkering Studio, where kids can invent and make things by hand, is one of the areas. Other exhibits and facilities of The Children's Museum include the Air and Flight Simulator, Stars and Space, Math area with puzzles and theorems, Electricity and Magnets, the Human Body, Water, and Energy. Additionally, interactive parts replicate everyday necessities like the supermarket, police station, bank, and more. Each activity is designed to encourage learning, imagination, creativity, and play in kids. The museum also holds various time-limited events, such as a month devoted to toddler learning or a month dedicated to water. A calendar of events and programs is broken down by age on most days. In addition to restaurants with adjoining party rooms, there is an outdoor theatre, an art workshop, a gift shop, and more. The personnel is outstanding, and the displays are Arabic and English. The Children's Museum, situated in Al Hussein Public Parks, has played a significant role in the city since its establishment in 2007. Its membership in the Association of Children's Museums and Hands-On and international demonstrates its commitment to quality. These two international organizations support the development of engaging learning environments for children. The signage in both Arabic and English encourages interaction and play between children from all backgrounds. Go to the Exhibit Hall to help your kids begin their museum experience. On the block-filled Imagination Playground, let kids conjure up new universes and fantastical locales. At the conservation exhibit, they can even devise their water-saving strategies. In the Ancient Times portion, they can also look for fossils by sifting through a sand pit. Toddlers and small children will enjoy the museum's Once Upon a Shape section. It has vibrant colors and developmentally appropriate construction blocks to encourage pattern-making. Keep an eye on how your youngster interacts with the tactile displays in a relaxed setting that keeps parents nearby while allowing for exploration. Visit the Secret Garden exhibit and outdoor area on a sunny day. Here, kids can burn off excess energy by climbing on play structures or find a peaceful spot in the vegetation to commune with nature and learn about caring for local species. The museum's outdoor parking garage offers free parking. The museum is open all year round but is closed on Tuesdays. Check the schedule in advance, as summer hours may be longer than winter ones. Although there is an entrance fee, the museum gives free admission on one day each month.
