Air Berlin airport check in counters opens at least 2 hour prior the scheduled flight departure time. Depending on the airport, the check in counters closes 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes or 90 minutes prior the scheduled departure time.

Air Berlin Baggage Allowance

Air Berlin baggage allowance is best for both short and long haul flights.

One item is allowed for check in which shouldn’t weigh more than 23 kgs, or up to 32 kgs in business class.

Passengers can carry one item of hand baggage which may weigh up to 8 kgs with dimensions not exceeding 55 cm x 40 cm x 23 cm.
