The Haramain High Speed Rail is also called the Western Railway. It is a high speed rail network in Saudi Arabia. It connects the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah with Jeddah. It goes at a speed of 300 km/h cutting travel time among favored destinations to a great extent. Opened in 2018, it has improved transportation efficiency for tourists, citizens, and pilgrims.
